As part of its aggressive expansion scheme, Filipino restaurant Jollibee will be opening two new branches in North America.
According to Jollibee Group, it will launch a new store in Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) in the second quarter of this year, which will be its maiden store in the area.
On top of this, they’re planning to unveil another outlet in West Covina, California, by the second semester of 2022. This area serves as the fast-food chain’s North American headquarters
Jollibee currently has two existing restaurants in the Metro Los Angeles area — 3821 Beverly Blvd. (East Hollywood) and 2700 Colorado Blvd. (Eagle Rock). The DTLA location will be its third in this particular sector and its 57th in the US. It will be located at Corner 7th and Flower St. across the Bloc, an area famed for its shopping destinations.
“Southern California has been and will continue to be a key growth area for the brand,” said Jollibee North America Business Group Head Maribeth Dela Cruz.
“We couldn’t wait a moment longer to open our doors in one of the world’s most dynamic and diverse metropolitan hubs that boasts such a strong sense of community among those who live and work in Downtown Los Angeles,” she added.
