Filipino-Iranian actor Anthony Keyvan has been chosen as one of the stars of Netflix’s new series ‘XO, Kitty,’ – a spin-off of the highly successful ‘To All the Boys’ film streaming series. 

In its announcement, Netflix confirmed that Keyvan will appear as a series regular on the show, whose production has already started in Seoul, South Korea.

The 21-year-old actor will reprise his role of Q in the show, starring alongside lead actress Anna Cathcart who plays the titular character Kitty. She’s the little sister of Lara Jean (portrayed by Lana Condor) the protagonist of the original series. 

Keyvan, who was born to an Iranian father and Filipino mother, is known for his recurring roles in Hulu’s “Love, Victor” series, ABC’s “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland,” and “Twisted,” among others.

Other actors joining the upcoming show include Choi Min-Yeong, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Peter Thurnwald, Regan Aliyah, Yunjin Kim, Michael K Lee, and Jocelyn Shelfo.

The much-awaited series comes from co-showrunners and executive producers Han and Sascha Rothchild. Jennifer Arnold, Jeff Chan, Pamela Romanowsky, and Katina Medina Mora are set to direct this season, Netflix announced on April 5.
