The Philippines has successfully produced another queen after Kathleen Paton won this year’s Miss Eco International crown in Egypt.
The Aklan province native triumphed over 40 other candidates from all over the world for the prestigious title during the grand coronation held on March 17 (March 18, PH Time) at Jolie Ville Resort & Spa Kings Island Luxor.
The Filipino-Australian beauty is now the second winner of the pageant from the Philippines with the first being Cynthia Thomalla, who was crowned in 2018.
Placing after Paton is first runner-up Chloe Reweghs from Belgium, second runner-up USA’s Jassy Peralta, third runner-up Lucia Morales from Spain, and fourth runner-up Prasana Shri from Malaysia.
Besides the crown, the 24-year-old beauty queen also brought home the Best in Eco Video award of the night.
Long before Miss Eco International though, Paton has been a staple of international pageants. Back in 2017, Paton bagged the Miss Teen International title in Bangkok, Thailand.
Philippine bets Maureen Montagne and Kelley Day also won big time in Miss Eco International, placing first runner-up in the 2019 and 2021 editions, respectively.
