With the hot season approaching the Philippines, it’s understandable that you’re already thinking about your summer getaway plans. After all, it’s been so long since we were able to travel leisurely – on account of the restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

But things are starting to look up this year. Many restrictions have now been rescinded and leveled down thanks to the increase in vaccinations and lowering of infections, which means more places opening up for tourism. 

Negros Occidental and Bacolod are two local destinations that have opened their doors to visitors once again. However, with the virus still present in PH protocols and safety standards will remain in place albeit less strict.
