If you think that the Philippines’ top tourist destination – Boracay – has reached its peak, you should definitely reconsider that thought.

Just recently, the beach, made popular by its fine-white sandy shores and ultra-blue waters, was hailed as one of the ‘Most Instagrammable Places in the World’ by none other than renowned travel website Big 7 Travel.

In its list of the ’50 Most Instagrammable Places in the World’ for 2022, Big 7 Travel ranked Boracay Island in second place.

This is the second consecutive time the island placed second on the list with last year being the first. The annual roster was based on “a scoring system that analyzes the number of hashtags per destination, survey results from our social audience, and input from our editorial team.”

In the feature, Boracay was described as a destination with “endless gramming opportunities,” specifically for its “dreamy sunsets,” “sandy beaches”, “fire dances” “bustling bars,” and a whole lot more.

The first spot went to Singapore while Oahu in Hawaii occupied the third. Meanwhile, the rest of the Top 10 include Amalfi Coast in Italy, New York City, Banff in Canada, Tokyo in Japan, Chicago in Illinois, Lisbon in Portugal, and Ha Long Bay in Vietnam.
