The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and National Academy of Sports (NAS) have released a sneak peek into the much-awaited NAS campus, which is set to be built at the New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac.

The full-size architectural design of the campus – expected to provide a state-of-the-art experience for Filipino athletes – has been officially shared on the BCDA group’s Facebook page.

The conceptual renders featured different facilities that will be built inside the campus, which includes a multi-sport gym, an academic and administration building, and more.

An aerial perspective of the NAS campus was also part of the presentation, giving the public a much-better view of the upcoming infrastructure’s scale.

The campus’ Phase 1 is expected to be accomplished next year in February, which is in line with the government’s effort to prepare the incoming students of NAS once face-to-face learning resumes.

Besides boasting modern facilities and design, the NAS will also be made with the environment in mind, according to BCDA.

Envisioned under Republic Act 11470, NAS aims to become an institution that will spur the development and advancement of sports programs, training in the country for Filipino athletes.
