2021 is definitely Seda Hotels’ year! The top hotel chain, which is owned and operated by Ayala Land Hotels and Resorts, received multiple recognitions from prestigious award-giving bodies in the field of tourism and travel.

For the eighth consecutive year, Seda was recognized as the Philippines’ ‘Leading Hotel Group’ by the World Travel Awards, which is considered as the ‘Oscars’ of the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors. Its Seda Residences Makati property also received praise as the country’s ‘Leading Serviced Apartments.’

Apart from this, Seda was honored with two awards from HRD Awards Asia 2021, specifically the ‘Employer of Choice’ and ‘Best Health and Wellness Program.’

HRD Awards Asia, which was established two years ago, has been acknowledged as of the region’s leading independent awards in Human Resources.

The ‘Employer of Choice’ award is given to the best organization to work for in Asia. Contenders are judged based on leadership, engagement, communication, and employee benefits. Meanwhile, the ‘Best in Health and Well-Being’ award recognizes excellence and innovation when it comes to workplace health, well-being programs, and initiatives.

AyalaLand Hotels and Resorts Corporation President Javier Hernandez attributes the awards to employees of Seda Hotels, who made it possible for the company to run during the pandemic.

“We dedicate these prestigious awards to all our employees who have kept our hotels operating seamlessly even under very challenging circumstances. The entire team remained focused and united throughout the pandemic, allowing the properties to rise to the challenge and emerge stronger and victorious despite the situation,” he said.

Seda operates a total of 11 hotels across the country. Opening its first property in 2012 at Tagiog City’s BGC. besides that, it also has properties in different tourists destinations in the Philippines, which includes Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Iloilo, Nuvali, Laguna, Makati, Quezon City, El Nido, and Palawan.
