To highlight the excellence of Filipinos – whether in sports or the arts – the Philippine Post (PHLPost) is releasing a new series of stamps called “Living Legends.”

The release of the “Living Legend: World-Renowned Filipinos: Series I” stamps coincides with the agency’s 75th anniversary, which it’s celebrating this month of November.

The initial release will feature Filipina Tony Award-winning performer Lea Salonga, who was overjoyed about the feature.

“I’ve been chosen to be commemorated on a stamp and postcards to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the first postage stamp in the Philippines! And I am in wonderful company!” she said.
