As part of its flagship infrastructure initiative – Build Build Build – the Duterte Administration is fast-tracking the construction of several mega-transport projects in Metro Manila, which includes the upcoming MRT-7 and Manila Subway.

Once finished, these new rail lines will connect to the existing MRT-3 and LRT-1, which are both located in North EDSA.

These four transit lines will then link up through a common point in North Avenue, specifically the Unified Grand Central Station (UGCS) that’s currently being constructed between SM North EDSA and Trinoma Mall.

This common station will ensure the efficient and comfortable transfer of commuters between rail lines, which will be accomplished through an integrated, interoperable, and intermodal system.
