The reshuffling of NorthPort’s lineup has continued ahead of the Philippine Basketball Association’s (PBA) upcoming Governors’ Cup.

The Batang Pier has now acquired Arthur dela Cruz in its second straight day on the trading block at the cost of Sidney Onwubere, who’s now with Ginebra San Miguel.

The latest trade deal between the two teams was officially approved by the PBA Committee on Tuesday (November 9).

Dela Cruz is expected to get a new lease on his career after being relegated to the sidelines when he was in Ginebra. The 29-year-old was not able to play in any match during the Philippine Cup season, which he spent with his former team.

Meanwhile, Onwubere was one of the key players for NorthPort in the recently concluded conference averaging 9.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.8 blocks a game in 13 outings.

In the previous trade, NorthPort was able to nab Arwind Santos and the San Miguel Beermen got Vic Manuel.
