Do you want to travel to Boracay? This is good news for you!
The popular tourist destination situated in Aklan is now accepting tourists of all ages from areas under GCQ and MGCQ – even those that hail from the National Capital Region (NCR) currently under Alert Level 3.
According to Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) Resolution 142, the following are now allowed to participate in interzonal travel (Point-to-Point):
- Those below eighteen (18) years old;
- Fully vaccinated individuals over sixty-five (65) years of age;
- Fully vaccinated individuals with immunodeficiencies, comorbidities, or other health risks
- Fully vaccinated pregnant women
However, they will still be subject to the guidelines and strict health protocols prescribed by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the local government unit (LGU) of their destination.
