After failing to clinch the first of their back-to-back games against Niigata Albirex BB in Japan’s B. League, the San-En NeoPhoenix came back with a vengeance to claims an 85-82 win against Niigata on their Sunday (October 10) face-off at Hamamatsu Arena in Japan.
Ravena, who was a former Ateneo Blue Eagles player, chalked up a record of 13 points, nine rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal in their rematch against Niigata to even out the wins, 1-1.
Although Niigata lost, the team’s performance in the latest match is nothing to scoff at, especially Kobe Paras’. The 24-year-old pitched in a total of 11 markers, three rebounds, and three assists during the game.
With this win, San-En has improved its overall record in the inter-conference with two wins and two losses—tying with Niigata.
After this match, San-En will face off in a back-to-back match with the Hiroshima Dragonflies on October 17 and 16.
Meanwhile, Niigata will go against Levanga Hokkaido over the weekend at Hokkai Kitayell.
