After two years in hiatus, Philippine Senator Manny Pacquiao is set to put his gloves back on for his upcoming clash with American boxer Errol Spence Jr.

The ‘Pamabansang Kamao’ last entered the ring in July 2019 in a fight against then-undefeated Keith Thurman.

Pacquiao’s triumph over the younger Thurman proved a lot of critics wrong – once again demonstrating his boxing prowess as the only eight-division boxing world champion.

With his fight against Spence, Pacquiao is looking to solidify his standing as one of the best boxers the world has ever seen.

Likewise, Spence is looking to prove his skill as one of the best pound-for-pound talents among his peers.

The two boxing great’s bout is one of the most anticipated fights of 2021 wherein three of the most prestigious belts will be on the line – the WBC, IBF, and Ring Magazine welterweight titles.

The much-awaited welterweight title fight between Pacquiao and Spence is scheduled for August 21, 2021, Saturday (August 22, Sunday PH Time).

The match will start at 9 p.m in the US. In the Philippines, it’ll be on at 9 a.m.

The 12-round match will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada – a first for both fighters.
