2GO Travel is taking advantage of the country’s dialing down of travel restrictions by launching a new program called “Unli-Trip, Unli-Ligaya.”
Through the initiative, the ferry company will offer cheap rates to travelers planning trips to Boracay, Cebu, and other parts of the Philippines.
2GO Travel’s Assistant Vice President Blessie Cruz said the company is aware of the increasing demand and is employing the strategy to give younger generations – who are eager to travel – flexible options.
“We understand the public’s yearning to travel post-pandemic, especially from younger generations who are willing to travel sooner rather than later. With Unli-Trip, we are not only offering the cheapest fare for domestic travel, but we are also giving our passengers flexibility options,” she said in an official statement.
The promo officially started on Monday (July 5) and will end on July 15. Those interested can now book trips for sailing from September 1 to December 31, 2021.
According to the company, the all-in rate of Php 1,059 with a base fare of Php 299 applies to Super Value Class and Tatami accommodations, inclusive of 50kg baggage allowance, surcharge, insurance, and exclusive of meals.
Passengers can book their travel tickets in all 2GO retail outlets nationwide.
After purchasing Unli-Trip tickets, itinerary receipts (ITR) are issued to passengers for the first two journeys. For the third and succeeding bookings, the receipts may be requested as a basis for the following issuances.
Only two bookings are allowed at a time.
The promo will cover all 2GO Travel destinations from Batangas to Caticlan and Roxas, including Manila to Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Coron, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Puerto Princesa, Butuan, Iligan, Ozamiz, Zamboanga, and vice versa.
