Top Filipina golfers Yuka Saso and Bianca Pagdanganan have officially been confirmed as Philippine delegates for the Tokyo Olympics.

On Tuesday, the International Golf Federation (IGF) released the complete list of qualifiers for the upcoming Olympic Games, which doubled as a ranking list for the sport of golf in the female category.

Saso and Pagdangan made it to the list’s Top 60, which earned them a spot in the Japan games set for July 23 to August 8.

The 19-year-old Saso, who won the US Women’s Open Championship, is ranked eighth in the world. Meanwhile, Pagdanganan occupied the 44th spot.

The young female golfers now join Juvic Pagunsan, another Filipino golfer whose Olympic stint was confirmed just last week, in representing the Philippines.

In an interview with CNN Philippines, National Golf Association of the Philippines Secretary-General Bones Floro said the three’s participation in the Olympic games will help the sport grow in the Philippines.

“Golf is not an easy sport to start. But when our countrymen of all generations see their fellow Filipinos representing all of us on the biggest stage in the planet, the chances of them taking the first steps to learn and play are much stronger,” Floro said.

The three golfers are now part of the Philippine delegation set to compete in the Summer Games. Other Filipino athletes that have qualified for the international tourney are pole vaulter EJ Obiena, gymnast Carlos Yulo, rower Cris Nievarez, taekwondo jin Kurt Barbosa, skateboarder Margielyn Didal, air rifle shooter Jayson Valdez, weightlifters Hidilyn Diaz and Elreen Ando, and boxers Eumir Marcial, Nesthy Petecio, Irish Magno, and Carlo Paalam.
