Mitchell and Clarkson dominate in Utah Jazz’s win against Memphis Grizzlies

The Utah Jazz has once again triumphed over the Memphis Grizzlies in their back-to-back match-up at Vivint Arena on March 27 (March 28 PHT).

Leading the rollover was Jazz’s Donovan Mitchell, who scored a total of 35 points for his home team, launching the Utah ballers to 126 -110 against the Grizzlies. Meanwhile, Jordan Clarkson pitched in a total of 28 points throughout his time on the court.

The tandem of Donovan and Clarkson also scored a combined 48 points in the first half of their match-up against the Grizzlies, propelling the team to an early halftime lead of 17 points.

In the third quarter, the team widened the lead to a 30-point gap. Not backing down, the Grizzlies managed to cut the lead down to 20 points. However, they lost momentum along the way with Jazz effectively keeping their distance.

In their first clash (March 26), the duo of Mitchell and Donovan also played dominantly against the Grizzlies with Mitchell chipping in an identical 35 points and Jordan contributing 14 points.

Utah’s O’Neale, Gobert, and Ingles also managed to score in the double digits in the second part of the NBA’s new successive game scheduling with 10 points, 16 points, and 15 points respectively.

For the Grizzlies, forward Kyle Anderson took the top scorer post, scoring 16 points throughout his 22-minute court stint. Not far behind is Brooks and Valanciunas who both earned 13 points in-game.

The team’s Ja Morant, Brandon Clark, and De’Anthony Melton also scored points in the double digits.

Before Utah Jazz turned the tides on them, the Memphis Grizzlies were undefeated three times in a row.
